Wednesday my cousin and I went to the Lady Dutch’s Social Event that happened at Galerie 203 in the beautiful Old Montreal. We had the chance to have a first look at the brand’s 2013 Fall collection before everyone else! I also happened to see my friend at this event and all together we had so much fun!
We arrived there and we were automatically escorted by the very nice Katia the host to the room. We got greeted by a promo girl who gave us our passes and by one of the brand’s designer who gave us a “Thank You” gift bag which had a lookbook of the complete Fall collection and a T-shirt. Then, we got lead to the brunch table which was pretty amazing; lots of food and bubbly champagne! When looking at my pictures in my camera, I noticed that I only took pictures of the drinks and none of the food…
The studio was spacious and well decorated. All the elements were on the right spot. The interesting part was the 4 social media stations (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest) that were available for us in order to directly post our pictures from the event. Plus, TVs were installed so we could see live our posts from all the social network’s websites, how cool?!
Now on to the clothing! So we had a first look at the upcoming 2013 Fall collection of Lady Dutch. The pieces looked fabulous! The collection had all the patterns and materials that are currently trending. The details on some pieces were totally gorgeous and well made. You darlings could expect lots of leather, plaid patterns, pearls and ornaments, and fur on the clothes. The new collection is very fashionable, comfortable, edgy, and chic, and is targeting females between the age of 18 and 35 years old. I fell in love with the entire collection and I will for sure get my hands on my fav pieces! There was also a model who was wearing different outfits so we can see how the clothes fitted on a person.
The people working at this event were very welcoming and fun to be around. I had the chance to meet the designers of the collection, other bloggers such as 3Filles, 1Ville, as well as other well-known faces of Montreal such as Lolitta Dandoy, Dj Abeille and Anne-Marie Withenshaw!
The event was great and fun and I was really glad to be part of it. Big thank you to Lady Dutch Canada and congratulations for the new collection!
